How Much is the Commission Fee for Your Services?
The commission fee for our services is generally 3%. This fee is not a fee, but rather an incentive for us to complete the job. If we don’t complete the job, we don’t get paid. By having a high enough incentive, it rewards us for results, and we are able to put in the effort needed to achieve the best outcome for our clients. We always recommend offering a commission that is competitive to attract the most buyers in the Kansas City real estate market.
Will you pressure me to buy or sell a property before I am ready?
We believe that building a long-lasting relationship with our clients is key to our success. We understand that moving can be a big and stressful decision, which is why we will never pressure you to buy or sell a property before you are ready.

Our team sells nearly 100 homes a year in the Kansas City real estate market, with team leader Justin having completed thousands of appraisals in the metro area. That’s quite a difference from the typical real estate agent, who might only sell 2-10 homes per year. Plus, our team trains on valuation methods very similar to how appraisers work–so we’re not relying on gut instinct but instead using real market data to provide advice and guidance. Rest assured knowing that when you purchase a house through us, you’re getting an experienced and knowledgeable real estate partner!
Are you available when I need you, or will I have trouble getting in touch with you?
We place a high value on being accessible to our clients. That’s why we work as a team, ensuring that someone is always available to assist you from 8 am to 9 pm.
If you need to reach your real estate agent and they are unavailable, our team will step in to assist. This collaborative approach allows us to provide our clients with the best possible service and meet their needs in a timely manner.
Having a team also means that you will never miss an opportunity to see a property of interest, even if your assigned agent is unavailable. We understand that buying or selling a property is a time-sensitive matter and we will do everything we can to ensure that you are able to view the homes you want to see.
Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?
If you’re looking to buy a house, you should always be aware of any potential hidden costs. Luckily, with us, all the costs are upfront–so there’s no need to worry about hidden fees. We work on commission and charge a $495 broker’s administration commission for all transactions–so there’s no need to worry about “junk fees” either! Rest assured knowing that when you purchase a house through us, you don’t have to worry about any surprises down the road.
Can you provide examples of properties you have successfully sold or properties that you have helped your clients find and purchase?

At Plains Paris Real Estate, we offer a 6-month satisfaction guarantee to ensure that our clients are completely satisfied with their buying or selling experience. In the unlikely event that a buyer feels they made the wrong choice within 6 months of the purchase, we will happily relist the property for them without charging any commission or additional fees. Additionally, if a seller wishes to cancel their agreement, a $1500 fee is required to cover marketing costs. This fee is a common practice in the real estate industry, and we are transparent about it with our clients. However, we always work with our clients to find the best solution for their needs and strive to provide the best possible real estate experience.
